Volunteer Perks

Professional Development Credit Program

Congratulations. All ABCD Hub volunteers are eligible to earn one (1) Professional Development Credit for every 40 hours of volunteer work performed.

How It Works:

  • Volunteers earn monthly credit hours for working locally at ABCD Hub events and/or completing online work assignments.
  • The ABCD Hub will issue a Volunteer Certificate to each volunteer no later than the 10th of each month which will indicate the total hours worked the previous month.
  • Professional Development Credits may be used for C and D-Tier training events and programs.
  • Volunteer hours accrued expire at the end of the volunteer period.

Eligibility and Credit Redemption:

All volunteers must register as a volunteer on the ABCD Hub website.

Volunteers begin accruing hours towards the Professional Development Credit Program beginning on the first day of volunteer service.

Volunteers must request in writing to use a Professional Development Credit prior to registering and attending the event.

The Hub will confirm in writing that the Volunteer (1) has earned enough credits to attend the event and (2) the event is eligible for volunteer participation.

ABCD Hub reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notice.

ABCD volunteers make it possible for more business owners to create jobs that employ the youth in your network and family. As a bonus, your volunteer hours could gain you free access to some program offerings.
